Myth II Dialog Editor 1.2 ReadMe

This program is designed to be a raw data editor for Myth II dialog tag files.
It displays the information stored in dialog files (with signature 'bina'), and
is able to edit the values and add or remove controls.

The goal of this application is to be functional, and spare users the hassle of
having to edit values with a hex editor in Myth II dialog files. It is still not
trivial to make dialogs unless you know what you are doing.

Many values in dialog files are seemingly unused, and you should not set values
other than the defaults in these fields, or risk the possibility of dialogs not
working or crashing Myth. You have been warned.

Also, please do not contact me with questions on what various values do. Please
take a look at existing Myth II dialogs (that can be extracted with a tool like
UnTag from existing Myth II tag and plugin files), and figure it out yourself.

The author of this program holds no responsibility on how this program is used
or the consequences thereof. Be sure to backup any files you plan on editing
with this program, to prevent nasty accidents.

You may re-distribute this program to all of your friends, but the program may
not be altered in any way before re-distribution.

Version 1.1 fixes a bug with the ordering of added controls after saving.

Version 1.2 adds MacRoman conversion code instead of using the existing
MacRoman charset which no longer ships with Sun Java on Windows.
