The Last Battle Lead your reinforcements to Alric and kill Balor at his fortress. This is a very hard level to coop. Most don't even make it to Alric without losing some of their troops. The trick is to kill the Fetch with your Archers without getting zapped. You are on a piece of land that looks like a thumb. Immediately move your Archers South to the crook of the thumb and kill that Fetch. Then face the South hill and kill the Fetch that will come over it. Now move your Archers to the top of that hill and shoot down on the two Fetch that will come at you from the tip of the thumb. Now move West and meet up with Alric (you can ignore the single Myrm). When you get Alrics troops, move them off the flag or you'll get killed by Balor. After Balor leaves, set up your troops on the hill with Dwarves at either end and Zerks backing them up. Archers on the center high ground to get good distance. Run a Zerk down and make the army chase you around so you can get some kills with your Archers and Dwarves (I recomend this for single play since it is so difficult to micro manage all your troops at once). If you are playing cooperatively it is sometimes easier if you just hold your ground and kill them as they come at you since you have enough players to micro-manage your army. Beware of Fetch though. It is the Fetch that make this level so hard on Legendary. The more Zerks and Archers you have at the end of this level, the better your chance of winning it. In fact, without most of your Zerks making it all the way to the end in good condition you won't have a chance. Once you clear the first attack wave, Alric will go to talk to Balor. Send one Zerk with him and move him to the far end of the Myrm line. What you are hoping for here is to sucker the Thrall in close to the Myrms so when Alric casts his spell, they will get caught in it as well. Two squads of Thrall with three Fetch will attack. Use the advancing Thrall to block the Fetch's lightning attacks. Use your Dwarves and Archers. If your Zerks get zapped you will lose this level. Now follow Alric to face down Balor. Use your Archers to start clearing Fetch, starting at the North wall and working around. Move your Zerks in from the South side. Get your Dwarves in there so they can weaken the Myrms when they attack making it easy on your Zerks. Don't stand too close to Alric or you'll get zapped by the Fetch and Balor as Alric moves in for the kill. Once you kill the attacking Myrms, Alric will freeze Balor with a spell and you have a limited time in which to kill him. Dwarves don't seem to be very effective. You need Zerks to do it. Rush in and hack him to pieces. Hints: You need Archers to kill the Fetch during the big fight. Don't lose them early on. You can not finish this level without a good number of healthy Berserkers. Do not bomb your own troops. Stay tight. Lots of healthy Berserkers are the key to finishing this level. Don't sacrifice them. The Great Devoid You've got Balor's head and you need to throw it into the Great Devoid. You've just got to get there first. This level really isn't difficult. It's just the last one so there is a tendency to want to get through it quickly, which makes for mistakes. First off, make 2 squads out of your Archers. Archers will get you to the Devoid. Group the rest of your troops together and keep them out of the way. Oh yeah, grab the head. Move half of your Archers East to the ford in the river. They will get a bad feeling and wights will come out of the woodwork. Kill all the wights. Then move everyone up to the river crossing. Be very Wight concious throughout this level. Set your Archers up along the river facing the enemy, just North of the crossing. You are going to sucker the Soulless back and forth in order to kill them. After the Soulless comes more Wights. Then shoot the Fetch (be very careful here. If your Archers get Fetched, you're as good as dead). You will need to kill two armies this way. To get the Fetch easier, back up to that uphill clearing just off the river and line up your Archers. Get the Fetch to follow a Zerk in and shoot them. Then send a Zerk across the river and East. There will be two or three more armies of Fetch and Soulless that will attack without stopping at the rivers edge. So take care of them from that clearing you have your Archers at. Your way to the Devoid is now clear, except for the stray Soulless and Wight. Make your way East then South to the Devoid. Soulblighter will be waiting for you along with a couple of Fetch and Soulless. Attack Soulblighter with your Zerks keeping the Jman close by. As Soulblighter is killing your Zerks, heal him. Then move in with your Archers to clear the way for your Dwarf. Move the head carrier to the edge of the Devoid and he'll automatically throw it in. Congradulations! You are now a Legend. Hints: To kill Soulblighter, simply heal him while distracting him with Berserkers. Don't lose patience at the river. Once you clear the armies of Fetch and Soulless, you are home free. If you lose your Dwarves you lose the game. I've never seen Soulblighter killed without the Journey Man.
